Hi! I'm Ariane, the artist behind Blanc Laine. I'm from Mont-St-Hilaire in Quebec and I work from my home studio. I live with my partner, one-year-old daughter and three pets (two cats and a dog). 

I discovered modern weaving through social media while I was studying interior design and it became a passion the second I wove my first piece. I fell in love with the fiber world and never looked back. As soon as I finished school in March 2017, I decided to pursue my small business full time. I added punch needle to my list of favorite crafts a few months later.

I wanted to share my experience and knowledge with other people to inspire them to be creative so I started selling PDF guides, DIY kits and some of my favorite weaving & punch needle supplies in 2018. It quickly became a huge part of my small business. Of course, I still enjoy making fiber art, so you'll also be able to find some of my artwork in the shop.
